As usual, a new version of SECURITHOR brings many new features and tuning of favourites.
A large update was also made to DT42 as we are launching the companion app GuardBooth for DT42gb.
The VERIFICATHOR app was redesigned for iOS17 and Android 14 with a focus on easier navigation of push notifications and push verifications. Several images and videos are now available as event proofs with the Push Verification service.

  • FLIC button is compatible with the GuardBooth App. GuardBooth Assistance/Panic button can be triggered by the paired FLIC button. The bearer geolocation is also sent to DT42gb/SECURITHOR. FLIC is available directly from Shortcut Labs, the makers of FLIC
  • compatibility with the GuardBooth app published on the Play Store. With the GuardBooth app, up to 5 users can receive notifications of incoming alarms from DT42. Codes and accounts can be filtered to send selected notifications.  Staff can see alarm details and write intervention notes along with images. This compatibility between DT42gb and GuardBooth app is for units manufactured starting in March 2024.

New SECURITHOR version 2.50 brings many new features

New SECURITHOR version 2.50 is a major update that brings many new features. Main features you will notice in 2.50 are the ability to open  multiple camera channels simultaneously in MCDI viewers and images from video detection available with Push Notification/Verification. That is images from the likes of Ajax Motioncam, Camect, Dahua AirShied PIRcam, EPCOM AX, EBS Ava Pro, Hikvision AX Pro PIRcam, Monitoreal and Ultinous are available with Notifications sent to subscribers by your SECURITHOR.

2.50 is currently installed at testing sites and will be available during September 2023 for ST1 users with a support plan. Network Edition users will get the update during the second wave at the end of fall.

New integrations

New integration with Ultinous adds more alarms from video analysis. SECURITHOR CAM+ speaks with all 3 products: U-Safe, U-Alarm and U-Filter.  The 3 products from Ultinous report alarms from Motion Detection and Video Analysis to SECURITHOR with image confirmations.

Our Monitoreal integration was enhanced with a magic button opening the Monitoreal Security Assistant directly from the alarm processing image view.

Camera health checks by Ai-RGUS service are now available to STC camera listener. Ai-RGUS service checks your cameras and NVR and reports failures to SECURITHOR.  Their service covers many aspects of camera health: image quality, framing, space left in memory, etc…

We are thrilled to have the new Dahua AirShield compatible with DT42 but also to have SECURITHOR CAM+ module showing the images transmitted from PIRcam. These images can be sent to Verficathor push verifications as well.

VETTI panels are now supported in DT42 which reports to SECURITHOR 2.50.

  • minimum requirements: Win 10 or 11 pro, dotNet 4.6.2.
  • ensure the latest Windows updates are run on the client’s PCs before attempting to install the SECURITHOR or MCB to minimize the chances of getting an error. In some cases, you need to run Windows Update several times as it will not show or download all updates in one shot.
  • last version supported in annual plans is 2.30. Consult with MCDI if you have a version below 2.30

SECURITHOR 2.30 and its companion app Mission Control are now officially available

Many new features were added to both SECURITHOR and Mission Control.

You can get an update of SECURITHOR as part of your annual support plan. Contact us to schedule this important update. Why are updates so important? The first reason is they are key moments to perform maintenance of your database.  The database is growing with each account and event you add. Like a car, your database needs an oil change from time to time.

Another important factor is to reduce the technological gap. Your SECURITHOR works in an environment that is changing: Windows updates are continuous, Camera manufacturers are adding new models, Smartphones have new OS, etc… Without updates, you risk falling behind and it will be hard to get back ahead. Especially with a live system that cannot stop. And it’s quite possible some features might stop working without warning as they get obsolete. Updates ensure you level your main monitoring tools with the environment it’s using.

But the best reason is all those new features. Look below, the list is long!

Major updates are published yearly with smaller ones in between. They are available with your annual support coverage. Why? For one they take an average of 8000 man-hours to produce so it’s a benefit only available to support plan holders. And as you might have an older version, we will need to make some manual arrangements to ensure compatibility. Plus, as we are always working on live systems so it’s important the update is made by someone with high knowledge of the product, who can do the update and the maintenance as fast as possible.
