Email and SMS are sent automatically when receiving an alarm signal. Set them per account and per alarm code

SCALABLE
SECURITHOR is built to follow your CMS, not the other way around. Start with the number of stations you need 1,2,3… and add more stations when you need them. You can plan your network installation ahead and spend only when you need it. Scalability also means you can jump from Single Station to Network Operation easily.  It also means you can add modules such as Weboperator or Web Access for your subscribers when you need them.

Redundancy options such as Live Back-up can be added to your operation. Remote Operation Center (recovery center) and remote back-up are all options that MCDI can set for you.

EASY INSTALLATION
With more than 5000 installations, MCDI products have proved to be easy to install and use. Our SECURITHOR entry level version is made to install by simply following the installer’s instructions.

Our engineers rarely travel to a site because even complex installations can be made with the help of our local resellers or by a local technician with general knowledge of computers and network. MCDI usually installs the base configuration ST1 under one hour using remote access tools. With a walk-through training you are ready to run SECURITHOR in no time.

Many WEB FEATURES are available for SECURITHOR. From Subscribers access to dedicated features for testing installations. Check the dedicated page on Web Access for SECURITHOR.

CHOICE OF OS
SECURITHOR server is made for Windows 10/11 pro or Server 2012/2016/2019/2022. As SECURITHOR is made to run with PostgreSQL and is not using Windows’ services, a regular OS is enough for the minimum to medium traffic operation thus tremendously reducing acquisition costs. High traffic or multi-site operations can benefit from a Server OS. Some of SECURITHOR modules can be hosted on Linux.

POWERED BY PostgreSQL
In designing SECURITHOR, we selected PostgreSQL for the database. SQL respects the 5 S we are looking for: Strength, Stability, Scalability, Security and Speed. MCDI chosPostgreSQL more than 15 years ago, so we have a lot of experience with it.

PostgreSQL is fast, able to handle big data and it’s open source. Being open source means there is no acquisition cost yet there’s a large community of developers to enhance and support it. Choosing PostgreSQL helps keep acquisition costs down because you don’t have to purchase a pricy SQL license on top of your CMS software.  PostgreSQL is an open-source object-relational database system that runs on all major operating systems including Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac OS X.

ALARM ROUTING TO OPERATORS BY SKILLSET
Alarm distribution can be automatic based on filters. Route alarm signals to specific operators based on account numbers, group or accounts, alarm codes, group and range of alarm codes. Use the filters to dispatch based on the location of the account or the location of the operator in a multi-site operation.

It’s easy to dispatch alarm types to operators who got training. For example medical or emergency response to a chemical incident.

LOAD BALANCING
With multiple operators you may want to insure all of them get a fair load of alarm signals to process. STnet is made to balance the load of signals between operators and to always seek the next available operator so there is no delay in processing alarms.

This is especially needed if you process alarms at two sites or in large operations where communication between operators or supervisors may not be instantaneous.

It’s always possible for an operator to transfer an alarm event to another operator to insure the same operator handles all event from a subscriber or to a more senior or specially trainer operator.

AUTOMATIC ALARM PROCESSING.
Many features are available to automate the alarm processing as much as possible. Schedules for arming/disarming systems (open and close), order by priority level, automatic log without operator intervention, etc…

Weboperator module allows installer in the field to put an account in test. They can send all test without operator noticing. Normal operator viewing is returned automatically after test is over.

CUSTOMIZED WORKSPACE
Each operator can move the tabs and navigation panes of SECURITHOR to best fit its work and display ergonomy. When logging out, the workspace of the operator is saved and will be presented back to him in the same manner next time he logs in for his shift. It’s easy to arrange the workspace for optimal operation. For example catch everything by leaving traffic windows on while you do account administration.

COMPATIBLE WITH MOST ALARM RECEIVERS
Of course, SECURITHOR is made to work best with MCDI Alarm receivers such as Decrypta 4 or DT42. But it also works with most alarm receivers on the market. Even if you have a legacy receiver we can probably hook it up to SECURITHOR as they all report to Automation Software in standardized protocol.

Older receivers usually require that you connect physically through a com port. With SECURITHOR you can do this from any PC in the local network running at least Windows 10. Another solution is to use a MCDI  D4A hub or DT42 IP alarm receivers to connect legacy receivers. They eliminate the need for a computer as both D4A and DT42 will report to SECURITHOR over USB or IP. They also feature an embedded web server to view traffic and push notifications to 5 Android devices.

Virtual receivers
Many alarm panel manufacturers distribute virtual alarm receivers dedicated only to their panels. While it is preferable to keep such software in a dedicated PC for security purposes, their output is usually compatible with SECURITHOR

IP receivers

SECURITHOR is compatible with most IP receivers on the market as their output often emulates standard PSTN receivers.

MCDI develops a unique IP receiver the DT42. This multi-format IP Alarm Receiver is unique as it handles the largest selection of open and proprietary IP alarm protocols on the market. MCDI tested DT42 with over 15 manufacturers and his constantly adding and testing more formats.

Among open protocols, the most popular is SIA DC-09. DT42 was tested successfully for handling all versions of SIA DC-09 with over 70 manufacturers.

DT42 will report to SECURITHOR natively over IP or via USB. It’s possible to connect DT42 to Securithor from anywhere in your Local Network or even from outside.  DT42 is loaded with features including multiple outputs, embedded web server and filtering of test signals to declutter alarm traffic.  Check DT42 in the latest MCDI  brochure or contact MCDI to get more info on this unique alarm receiver.
