UNLOCKING SECURITHOR
If you downloaded and installed SECURITHOR, you need to register and unlock it to continue using it after the trial period.
BEFORE COMPLETING THIS REGISTRATION, PLEASE INSURE YOUR SECURITHOR IS UPDATED TO THE LATEST VERSION 1.0.5.9.
This unlock is made by installing SECURITHOR on the PC where it will be used and sending hardware ID to MCDI. MCDI will return a unique license key which should be copied to the MCDI>SECURITHOR folder of your PC. License key will be provided for only one PC. Restarting SECURITHOR will be needed after you copied the license key to your PC.
The simplest way to send your hardware key to MCDI is to use the form below (from the ACTIVATE button of SECURITHOR) or email your hardware ID to unlock@mcdi.com stating your serial number, contact info and purchase info. Insure you fill the email and phone fields correctly.
MCDI usually returns a license key within 4 hours during MCDI opening hours. If sending your hardware ID after opening hours, license key will be processed first thing on next business day.
Even if your SECURITHOR software is locked down, the alarm processing menus are still available and fully working. Administration menus will not accessible.
LOCATE HARDWARE KEY
MCDI does not provide unlocks for keys spelled over the phone. The risk of error is too great with this mean of transmission.
From the tool menu, click on Activate. This will pass your hardware ID to the present securithor.com/unlock form. Access to the internet is needed to use this method.
Alternative methods: send an email with your Hardware ID attached or write your hardware ID in a fax.
To locate your hardware ID file, go to MCDI>SECURITHOR and copy the file: hardware_ID.
LICENSE KEY
MCDI will return a unique license key which you must copy in the MCDI>SECURITHOR folder of your PC. Do not send hardware ID if you are not sure you will keep SECURITHOR on a specific PC or tell MCDI you need a temporary license prior to final installation.
Insure your email address is correctly spelled and valid if you wish to receive your license key.
Be sure to whitelist mcdi.com in your spam filter if you want to receive your license key.
