DESCRIPTION
SECURITHOR is MCDI SP new Monitoring Software dedicated for Control Rooms or Security departments who want to process signals from Alarm Panels.

SECURITHOR will be at ease if you have 50 accounts or if you have 50000. SECURITHOR first purpose is to automatize the alarm processing Central stations. SECURITHOR can be configured to operate from fully manual to fully automatic. SECURITHOR is scalable from one station to many in a network and can be tailored by the license owner to operate Monitoring stations from County sheriff offices to large scale Central Alarm Stations.

SECURITHOR is a powerful database management tool for Control room operators, presenting them with alarm, account and action info to process signals processed by alarm receivers. SECURITHOR is also an administrative tool for your Central station to prepare reports and analyse alarm traffic.

With more than 10 years experience in making monitoring software and receivers, MCDI Security Products staff knows how to make EASY TO USE. Our SAMM and WinSAMM software are in operation in thousands of Centrals in more than 65 countries and 14 languages.

SECURITHOR is a new software built on our knowledge of making SAMM and WinSAMM. It's made to minimize operators training yet giving you enough options to provide your Alarm Central with a business edge.

VERSIONS
SECURITHOR is available as ST1 single station version since April 2009 and STnet network version since June 2010.

Single station (ST1)
ST1 works on a single computer running Windows XP, VISTA or 7. It comes with all necessary SQL tools and the SECURITHOR application itself in an easy to follow installer package. Installer and SECURITHOR are available in several languages.

Single station with server core (ST+1)
This hybrid SECURITHOR runs ST1 and STserver core on the same computer in 2 separate applications. Separating STcore and database results in enhanced speed and DB performance. Requires a dual core PC running windows 7. Available upon release of STnet

NETWORK EDITION STnet
The Network Edition is now available to dealers. ST 1 1.0.9.7 is used by Network operators to connect to SECURITHOR SERVER. Version 1.0.9.7. can be installed for a single workstation or connected to STnet server (requires STnet license).

SECURITHOR Network version is based on architecture requiring a server PC and clients PC. This server works with a windows operating system (XP, VISTA, 7, Server 2003, Server 2008, Small Business Server) while the connected workstation are windows XP, VISTA or 7. Depending on traffic regular PCs or Server and workstations can be used.

The Database using PostgreSQL can be located in a Windows or Linux based computer. A normal PC or a dedicated server can be used depending on your needs.

Once the STnet server is installed and configured, stations are installed on Windows computers. Server license price is the same for all configurations and stations are priced per station with special discount for 5 or more stations. You select the number of stations you need at the start and install more stations only as you need them. Stations are paid when they are installed. Stations are connected to the server over ethernet.

Server licensing is based on the number of concurrent connected ST stations. Multiple ST clients can be installed over the number of licensed ST stations.


UPGRADING FROM SAMM AND WINSAMM
It's possible to get special discounted prices for SECURITHOR if you already own SAMM or WinSAMM licenses. Ask your dealer or contact MCDI Security Products about special upgrade prices directly from our quotation form.

Upgrading from SAMM 10.3 or from WinSAMM is done by updating to a special WinSAMM EXPORT version. This special version will be published in February 2008 for the sole purpose of converting SAMM/WinSAMM database and exporting it to SECURITHOR.

If you have an older SAMM 8 or early version 10.1, you should contact MCDI SP support group to arrange database conversion.

Tools for database conversion will be available with version 1.2. Due to the numbers of database and complexity, the tools are delivered 'as it is' without warranty and are supported on a best effort basis for holders of yearly support contracts and license holders still covered by a support period.

TECHNOLOGY
SQL for SECURITHOR
In designing SECURITHOR, we made sure to use SQL engine and database. SQL respects the 4 S we we are looking for: Strength, Stability, Security and Speed.

SECURITHOR is using PostgreSQL. This SQL engine has been around for 15 years and it is supported by a large community of developers. But the best is that it is free to use so you do not have to add a pricey Microsoft SQL of MySQL license to the cost of your Monitoring software.

Coding of the software application is accomplished with Visual Studio from Microsoft using Microsoft .net Framework. We use these tools to insure the best compatibility possible with Microsoft operating systems and to have a highly sophisticated graphic user interface. Visual Studio also give us the possibility to add more tools and extend options of SECURITHOR in the future. Reports are generated by Crystal Reports.

Minimum requirements using Windows VISTA or 7 equal to VISTA or 7own requirements
Compatible with most 64 bits and Dual core processors.

SECURITHOR NETWORK EDITION STnet
N.B. The following are minimal requirements. High traffic or specific operations may have higher requiremnts. You should discuss requirements with MCDI at planning stage of your network.

SERVER FOR STnet
Windows XP SP3, VISTA (with Platform update), Windows 7
CMS withhigher traffic should consider:
Windows server 2003 SP2, Windows server 2008 R2, Windows SBS 2008.
SQL engine: PostgreSQL (supplied with STnet). Does not require other SQL engine.
Database with PostgreSQL can be installed on separate server.
Receivers can be spread on network or connected to dedicated PC/server.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Current preview includes Danish, English, French, Greek, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. Future release will include Arabic, German, Italian.

Some OEM or language specific version have language restriction.
Other languages can be added upon supplying a translation of SECURITHOR master file and commercial agreement with MCDI SP inc..

Current version:
Current release is 1.0.9.7 for new installations. Compatible with Windows 7, XP and VISTA. Compatible 64 bits processors. Compatible with migration tool 1.0.9 available to support contract holders. This installer is common to all SECURITHOR versions. When using STnet, it connects to server core.

Next versions:
.Release 1.1.0 planned for Aug 17th will contain new options: SMS sending with GSM/SMS modem and Alarm filtering by skill set (STnet). Contains modification to error loggings, speed optimization and emailing engine. Enhancements to report section in preparation.

.Release 1.1.1 planned for August 24th will contain new option STM SECURITHOR MOBILE (included in STnet, option for ST1).
